The FIDM Fistpumps (Yes, that's our name) in the "dug out" (Sorry I'm trying to use sports lingo- bare with me)
The Team on the field
Andrea (my Portland friend) taking the game VERY seriously
My roommates: Laura and Katie, laura pulled a hammie! haha
Jenny (my actual ROOMmate) being sexy as usual :)
So after the game we all went to the bar, which is pretty fun, it a mexican resturaunt so they play salsa music and we ate chips and salsa. However, I wasn't going to go to the bar because I had class in the morning but everyone convinced me to go and I drank a little too much, so the next morning I was not feeling so hot. I had a stomchache all day but after lunch I was okay. But I dont think I'll be going to the bar again.
On friday I had my writing class and marketing after that. I got a bunch of homework and quizzes passed back and I got either 100% or 110% on EVERYTHING!! So I was very pleased. I even got 70/70 on my big writing project. I'm so glad that I went first and got it out of the way because now I'm pretty much gaurenteed to pass the class. (My writing class kind of sucks because its a pass fail class. So I feel like I'm trying really hard just to get a pass, but I guess thats okay. We'll just pretend I get an A.)
Friday after school Noah got here and we walked to my school so we could get movie tickets. We get REALLY discounted movie tickets (like 50% off) so we always buy them from there. We grabbed some food from a very popular food card then we went to the movies.
First, we saw my movie. I wanted to see Oceans or The Back-up Plan. We decided on The Back-up Plan. Lets just say, I wish we would have seen Oceans. It's about Jennifer Lopez getting artificially inceminated because she is single and wants kids, but then she meets a guy, and its about their rocky relationship. I can't explain why I didn't really like but I will try. It wasn't really funny... Romantic Comedy's are supposed to be funny. It was okay, I would have just rather seen it on DVD.
After that we went to mine and Noah's favorite resturaunt, Octopus. Then we went home and watched an episode of Lost. The next morning we had breakfast then went to see another movie. SIDE NOTE: Noah and I watch a LOT of movies. We are movie people. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS. So this time we saw Noah's movie: Losers. This movie was okay, I didn't realize it was a comic book though. I liked Chris Evans roll in that movie. He was a goofball. The reason I didn't like it is because I don't like when woman and children die in movies, and children die in this movie. But I will say that other then that it was a good movie. The action scenes were intense and the story line had a suprise at the end that I didn't see coming... which is saying a lot, because between me and Noah, we can pretty much always guess the ending.
After the movie we came home and watched Avatar. Now, I'm sorry if I offend anyone but I really didn't like this movie. Okay, it was visually pleasing and creative (however it reminded me of Pochahontas and Fern Gully). But again, I HATE when innocent people die. It makes me angry. I hate that it exposes humans for what we really are... GREEDY ASSHOLES. I was actually mad after that movie. The movie is bascially about humans coming in and exterminating another species because they have something we want. Come on James Cameron, why dont you just make a hollocaust movie?!?!?
After that Noah went home and I went to sleep. All in all it was a good weekend, next weekend I'm going down to San Diego!! :)
XoXo,
Steph
VERY long post here..........
ReplyDeleteWhy are you yelling so much?
I wish you would have seen Oceans. I want to see it but want to hear what you say about it first.
I told you to ONLY see Avatar in 3D. Otherwise there is no point as it is really a remake of FernGully: http://www.nelsonguirado.com/index.php/reviews/2009/11/07/avatar-and-ferngully
